Multi-Purpose Health Worker

- Should have passed the Senior Secondary Part-II Examination or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution.
- Should Possess Diploma in Multipurpose Health Worker (Female) from a recognized University or Institution, and Should be registered as Multipurpose Health Worker (Female) with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council established under the Punjab Nurses Registration Act, 1932. Out of Ninety per cent quota.
- Ten per cent from Anganwari Workers working under the control of the Director, Social Security, Women and Child Development Department who possess the qualifications mentioned in clauses (i), (ii) and (iii) and who have an experience of working as Anganwari Workers for a minimum period of five years; and.Ten per cent from Asha workers working under the National Health Mission who possess the qualifications mentioned in the aforesaid clauses and who have an experience of working as Asha Worker for a minimum period of five years. Provided that if no suitable person is eligible from the aföresaid two categories, then the twenty per cent quota shall be filled up from other categories by direct recruitment.
